During the fall, we launched our new Haynes Teacher Corps (HTC) for Leadership, Citizenship and Civic Engagement. The four-year program develops freshmen education majors into the next generation of teacher-citizen leaders who are ready to serve in the classroom and their communities.
The program includes academic challenges, volunteering, cultural experiences and mentorship that continues into each student’s first year of teaching. HTC also plans to provide unique learning opportunities for all students in our College through a Professional Learning Institute.
