innovation while strengthening communities across Texas and beyond.

Texas A&M Institute for Early Childhood Development & Education promotes the development, learning and well-being of young children and their families through innovative research-to-practice initiatives.

Our College houses 11 centers and institutes that unite experts from diverse fields to drive impact and
innovation while strengthening communities across Texas and beyond.

Through research and state partnerships, these units address real-world challenges such as advancing education
and health, promoting early childhood development, improving quality of life for seniors and shaping the future
of workforce learning.


Center on Disability & Development (CDD)

CDD empowers individuals with disabilities and their families through education, research and service. As a
University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities, the center fosters partnerships to improve
quality of life and promote community inclusion.


Center for Sport Management Research & Education (CSMRE)

CSMRE drives interdisciplinary research and knowledge sharing within the sport management industry, promoting
academic growth and providing students with hands-on learning experiences through industry partnerships and
events.


Center for Research and Development in Dual Language & Literacy Acquisition (CRDLLA)

CRDLLA engages in leading research while providing educational materials and professional development
opportunities for dual language and biliteracy students and practitioners.


Center for Translational Research in Aging & Longevity (CTRAL)

CTRAL conducts clinical research on nutrition, exercise and metabolism to improve health outcomes in aging
populations while addressing diseases such as cancer, heart failure and cognitive decline.


Center for Urban School Partnerships (CUSP)

CUSP addresses critical issues facing urban schools through rigorous research and by developing and sharing
learning materials and programs that support urban educators.


Education Leadership Research Center (ELRC)

ELRC enhances educational leadership through innovative research on practices and policies in schools and
offers mentoring and professional development to improve school performance.


Education Research Center (ERC)

ERC provides research and evaluation services nationwide, supporting P–12 schools, nonprofits and government
agencies in data-informed decision making.


Huffines Institute

The Sydney and J.L. Huffines Institute for Sports Medicine and Human Performance brings together scientists and
clinicians to advance research and practice in human performance.


Texas A&M Institute for Early Childhood Development & Education

The institute promotes the development, learning and well-being of young children and their families through
innovative research-to-practice initiatives.


Texas A&M Institute for Technology-Infused Learning (TITIL)

TITIL supports research at the intersection of science, technology and education to prepare learners for the
future workplace.


Texas Center for the Advancement of Literacy & Learning (TCALL)

TCALL provides adult literacy and education training across Texas and offers comprehensive professional
development resources for educators.
